1. Pay attention to your thoughts
Listen to your inner dialogue and get to know what repetitive thoughts you are having that are harmful to you. Do you have an inner critic telling you that you just don’t have the skillset to develop your intuition? Are you so busy thinking about the past that you can’t even hear what is really going on around you right now?
2. Learn how to focus
Spend time focus on just one thing. You can focus on your third eye or something physical like a feather, or you can focus on the feeling of love. Practicing this every day will help you to focus on your intuition.
3. Internal and external cleansing
Working on past emotional issues and letting them go frees you up so that you are able to focus on whats important. Eating a clean diet will help you concentrate better and think more clearly. Cleaning your living space literally moves stagnant energy and gives you a fresh start.
4. Remain relaxed and open
Concentrating too hard is actually counterproductive. Don’t try to force anything- let answers come to you naturally.
5. Physical exercise
Exercise helps you to anchor into your physical body. Some exercises even enhance your ability to see and feel energy.
6. Put goals and tasks on paper
This is super important because you can’t listen to your intuition when you are too busy thinking about all of the things you have to do. As soon as you think of something that needs to be done, write it down. That way it won’t come up while you are meditation or listening to your intuition.
7. Be authentic
You won’t get a bunch of authentic truthful answers if you cannot be authentic and true to yourself! Respect your own boundaries- say no when you mean no and say yes when you mean yes. Do not lie about yourself out of embarrassment when someone asks about you- be proud of your interests.
Meditation is a big part of learning how to quiet your mind and focus your attention. There are many ways to meditate, and none of them are really wrong. Meditation can be sitting quietly, going on a walk, or painting- it all depends on your intention. Meditating for at least 15 minutes a day will play a big part in helping you develop your intuitive skills.
9. Do what you want
Doing what you want more often will make you happier and bring you closer to your higher self. This will automatically increase your ability to hear your inner guidance and have more opportunities to use it.
10. Let yourself feel your “negative” emotions
When you stop resisting your negative emotions they will not linger for years and solidify into the physical body. This keeps you clear and free of emotional and physical toxins and burdens that would otherwise weigh you down and make you sick. This is for educational purposes only and it is not meant to replace the care or advice of a medical professional in any way.
